Phillips, the leading auction house, will hold an NFT auction called My Kawaii Valentine. It will last from 14th to 22nd February.
The centerpiece of this collection is the first series of ground-breaking NFT works by MonoC, an “independent and unique” author “who is programmed to think, act, and feel like a real human being”.

Briton wants to turn the island into a “crypto paradise”
A retired British property investor Anthony Welch is planning to transform Lataro Island with an area of 3 million m2 into a “sustainable smart city” for crypto investors from all over the world. It is also planned to make it a regulation-free “crypto utopia”.
The island has already been renamed from Lataro to Satoshi. The idea was already supported by about 21,000 investors.
“Life on the island will be an experience like no other, giving the crypto community a way to live and work amongst like-minded people in a place designed around the industry we love,” is stated on a Satoshi Island website.
In the Future Uber Will Accept Cryptocurrency as Payment
Dara Khosrowshahi, the Uber CEO, in an interview on Bloomberg Television, said that they would accept cryptocurrencies at some point in the future.
Uber has yet to implement the technology, citing the high cost of exchanges and the environmental effect of digital mining on the electrical grid, according to Khosrowshahi.
The chief executive officer noted, “As the exchange mechanism becomes less expensive and becomes more environmentally friendly, I think you will see us leaning into crypto a little bit more.”
- Spot trading: On the spot trading front, Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) have become top dogs. Theta Network (THETA) is following these two head on with Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) taking fourth and fifth places.
- Derivatives: Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have become the most traded currencies as to trading derivatives. The Sandbox (SAND) is ranking third with Terra (LUNA) and Avalanche (AVAX) in fourth and fifth places.
