The group claimed 52 percent of the tested jurisdictions in 120 countries had “adequate laws and regulatory structures in place” to assess risks and identify beneficial owners of corporations in a study issued on Tuesday on the “State of Effectiveness and Compliance with the FATF Standards.” Furthermore, according to the FATF, just 9% of nations are “substantially effective” in this area.
Blizzard Entertainment President Mike Ybarra shot down any notions that the World of Warcraft and Diablo publishing firm plans to get in on the budding NFT market anytime soon.
Over the weekend, he tweeted, “No one is doing NFTs,” in response to video game writer Andy Robinson’s claim that “Blizzard is polling interest in NFTs and ‘play to earn’ games.”

UTA signs exclusive deal with Deadfellaz Ethereum NFT Collection
The NFT collection Deadfellaz has secured an exclusive representation arrangement with United Talent Agency, covering brand collaborations, merchandise, gaming, and live events, as Web3 items move farther into the mainstream.
“Very bullish on the future,” Deadfellaz co-founder “Betty” tweeted, announcing the signing of an agreement with UTA, which has also signed partnerships with CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Autoglyphs recently.
Deadfellaz is a collection of 10,000 zombie-themed NFTs minted on the Ethereum blockchain that was launched in August by the pseudonymous developers “Betty” and “Psych.”
NBA has announced ‘Dynamic’ Ethereum NFTs for Playoffs
On Wednesday, the National Basketball Association began minting The Association, an Ethereum NFT collection of 18,000 assets.
NFTs are one-of-a-kind blockchain tokens that show who owns an asset, such as a piece of digital art. Each Association NFT symbolizes a genuine NBA player in this year’s NBA playoffs. There will be 75 NFTs of each player from each of the 16 NBA clubs in attendance.
These NFTs, like real athletes, do not remain static. NFT attributes will alter during the playoffs based on each player’s real-life performance, such as a particular number of dunks, blocks, three-pointers, rebounds, or assists. The player’s team’s performance will also affect the NFT backdrops and “frames.”
