A technical glitch on the leading crypto aggregator, CoinMarketCap, sent the value of crypto assets flying for a while.
The BTC rate updated its ATH and reached $853 billion, ETH was able to take first place in market cap and has risen in price by 1.25 billion% per day. Bitcoin dominance dropped up to 8%.

Nike enters the metaverse game
Nike announced the acquisition of RTFKT, a company that makes digital sneakers, the latest sign that the sportswear giant sees enormous financial potential in the new immersive reality known as the metaverse.
According to Nike, acquiring RTFKT will help the company to “deliver next-generation collectibles that merge culture and gaming.”
Nike’s president and CEO, John Donahoe, believes that the move helps accelerate the company’s digital transformation efforts:
“Our plan is to invest in the RTFKT brand, serve and grow their innovative and creative community and extend Nike’s digital footprint and capabilities.”
A trader sold NFT for 0.75 ETH instead of 75 ETH by mistake
The Bored Ape Yacht Club is a collection of 10,000 pieces of digital NFT art living on the ETH blockchain. On Saturday, the owner of such a piece of art sold his NFT for a fraction of what it was worth by mistake.
Max, who goes by the Twitter handle @maxnaut, said the mistake happened after “a lapse of concentration” when he accidentally listed the NFT for 0.75 ETH ($2,844) instead of 75 ETH ($284,495). “I instantly saw the error as my finger clicked the mouse but a bot sent a transaction with over 8 ETH ($34,000) of gas fees so it was instantly sniped before I could click cancel, and just like that, $250k was gone,” he said.
