Bitcoin jumped to $50K, Binance coin has a new record

Weekly Market Summary
The worldâs largest digital currency by market value rose more than 3% to an all-time high of $50,487. It later fell below the mark, trading 0.2% higher at a price of $48,760.
Bitcoin has gotten a boost from the news of large firms like Tesla and Mastercard showing support for crypto. Tesla last week revealed it had bought $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin and plans to accept the digital coin as payment for its products, while Mastercard said it would open up its network to some digital currencies. PayPal and BNY Mellon have also made big moves to support crypto.
Binance Coin (BNB) saw its second major rally in February, culminating in a new all-time high of $195 after the token price climbed above the $80 mark
Having crossed the $150 resistance point, commentary on social media puts the $200 psychological level as the next major milestone for BNB.
BNB is also enjoying the effects of the significant increase in activity on the Binance Smart Chain. According to data from Defistation, the total value locked on the BSC showed a 20% increase in the last 24 hours and now stands at about $8 billion. This figure puts BSCâs total value locked at about a fifth of Ethereumâs DeFi scene.

NYDIG and MicroStrategy
NYDIG, Stone Ridge Asset Managementâs bitcoin spin-off firm, has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) that would trade on the stock market, like AAPL or TSLA. (The SEC has been hesitant to approve these investible products.)
MicroStrategy is planning to buy as much as $690 million more bitcoin, announcing an additional wave of convertible notes. MicroStrategyâs BTC horde is worth more than $3.5 billion.
New rulesÂ
India will give crypto holders a three-to-six-month window to cash out if a proposed ban on cryptocurrency goes through. The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Billfloated this year seeks to limit private currencies in the country and set up a framework for a national digital currency.
Fantom (FTM) is currently the only DAG-based smart contract platform. It allows you to solve the problems of scalability of operations. The platform also makes it possible to exchange data with a low rate of commission. The platform is not a classic blockchain. The technology is slightly different from the usual solutions. DAG is a new architecture through which it is also possible to form a centralized network.
The FTM coin is based on the ERC20 standard. It acts as the platformâs internal currency. The coin will be used to pay commissions within the current ecosystem. All wallets that work with the ERC20 standard support the token. There are no problems with storing coins. For this purpose, you can use cryptocurrency exchanges or install the appropriate wallet on your computer.
