Physically staked Solana ETPs are now available through FTX and CoinShares

CoinShares, one of Europe’s major cryptocurrency investment businesses, has teamed up with FTX to establish a new physically-backed Solana (SOL) exchange-traded product (ETP).

CoinShares formally stated on Wednesday that the new product, named CoinShares FTX Physical Staked Solana, will begin with 1 million SOL in seed money, allowing investors to earn 3% in staking rewards. The new cryptocurrency ETP is FTX and CoinShares’ first joint venture.

The product will be launched on Xetra, Germany’s largest digital exchange, and will be CoinShares’ fourth ETP in 2022. After beginning to trade the CoinShares Physical Staked Tezos ETP and the CoinShares Physical Staked Cardano ETP in early March, the company released the CoinShares Physical Staked Cardano ETP.

Veve, a Marvel NFT partner, has shut down its marketplace due to an in-app token abuse

Veve, a nonfungible token (NFT) marketplace with licensed digital items, was recently hit by an attack, resulting in the illicit acquisition of millions of gems (in-app tokens). Mainstream companies such as Marvel, Pixar, and Coca-Cola have picked Veve as their official launch partner, demonstrating the platform’s popularity.

In an official tweet, Veve confirmed the vulnerability on its platform and stated that the attackers were able to illegally get a “large amount” of gems. Until the investigation is completed, the app-based NFT platform has taken down the marketplace as well as the gems buying option.

• Spot trading: On the spot trading front, Bitcoin (BTC) and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) have become top dogs. Hedera (HBAR) is following these two head on with Solana (SOL) and Terra (LUNA) taking fourth and fifth places.

• Derivatives: Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have become the most traded currencies for trading derivatives. Cosmos (ATOM) is ranking third with Theta Network (THETA) and Harmony (ONE) in fourth and fifth places.
